A recent issue of The Daily Jewish Forward asserts that Samuel Beckett was an habitué of the Paris’ Crazy Horse Saloon
where there are nude dancers. In fact, Samuel Beckett went only twice in that cabaret. The first time, he was invited by a French homme
de lettres with some other people and he quickly escaped. The second time, he was invited by the Belgian writer José-André Lacour and
his behaviour sheds light on his impish nature.
